• Tyze

Tyze is a web community project built on the methodology of the PLAN Institute, a nonprofit organization in Canada. Its mission is to reduce the isolation and loneliness of people who are marginalized. For this project we designed the logo, branding style guide, and website templates.

What the client had to say

“I wanted to let you know that last night we showed our first preview of Tyze to half a dozen people who have worked with PLAN for anywhere from a month to twelve years, building personal support networks. They were all blown away by the site, and particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful design. No matter what their previous level of online experience, everyone in the room felt totally welcomed and enthusiastic about the Tyze site, and commented specifically on how easy it is to use. So, thank you again for your wonderful work in creating such a beautiful, user-friendly design!”

  • Xtreak

Xtreak, based in Silicon Valley, offers a fast online file delivery service. Our job was to design the logo, Xtreak card, and website, as well as the interface for the file uploader tool plus a Flash movie player. When presenting the website to the client we showed light and dark design proposals. The client loved both and so now they offer the users a choice by using a CSS style switcher.

What the client had to say

“The “look” of Xtreak’s file storage and delivery service was a pleasurable collaborative effort thanks to Veerle. We like working with her because we share the same values. We both want Xtreak to be functional and state-of-the-art and aesthetically pleasing. She is tenacious and produces high quality work and does not compromise in that regard. We appreciate her quick work, dedication to the project at hand and her vast knowledge of CSS, design and her solid understanding of the software she uses.”
