Just over a week ago Veerle Pieters, founder and chief of awesome stuff at Duoh! HQ relaunched her design blog. Two years in the making cause of limited time available in-between client work.

Looking back

Veerle's blog 2.0 was launched about 4 years ago and was far more successful than we ever dreamed it could be. You could ask yourself why risk changing something that is successful? This is what Veerle said:

Just like many other graphic designers, I always want to improve my own creations. Some sort of gene must prevent you from being pleased by your own creations after a certain period of time. I always say I am my own worst client.

Veerle's blog 3.0

This new version started with a completely new approach. The blog has been divided into four main sections:

The main purpose of the blog is still inspiring people to be creative. Especially the inspiration stream and the Belgian graphic design section is set up for that. Veerle wanted to create a place where you don't have to browse for hours until you find inspiration. An inspiration firewall where things are already filtered, and where you only find quality. The whole story about this new version can be found here.
